This Homune table is a limited addition designed by Michael Young.  Mr. Young created the table for the Czech Republic glass company Lasvit.  The top is handblown glass with an amber/orange base made of 36 handblown glass fractals with six different designs repeating six times.  Lasvit developed special steel molds to create each of the fractals.

L.A. Fashion Weekend on Friday, October, 19, 2012 was all about swimwear.  Designers featured were Kate Swim, Nicolita "Havana Nights" by Christina Milian, Culture Swimwear, and Amelie by Andrea Abaunza.  The common themes among all of the designs were the use of strong colors from coral to fuchsia and everything in between.  Kat Swim’s show opening hot pink bikini with a floral triangle top was an instant hit with the crowd as were the beautiful cover-ups presented Andrea Abaunza.  The weather in LA was warm, but the swimsuits on the runway were hot!

Splashy Swimwear

October 22nd, 2012

Andrea Abaunza debuted her swimwear collection Amelie on Friday October 19, 2012 at L.A. Fashion Weekend held at Sunset Gower Studios.  Andrea moved to Los Angeles to study fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 2000.  The influence for Andrea’s collection came from her Columbian upbringing.  The suits looked amazing coming down the runway.  The color, cut and fit of each suit seemed to be suitable for many body types which is not always the case when it comes to swimwear.  To see the entire collection please visit www.amelieswimwear.com

Pitcher Perfect

October 16th, 2012

Water on the table never looked so good!  Beverage pitchers come in all shapes and size no matter your design taste.  I like to think of them as art for the table.  Make a statement at your next dinner party or tonight gathered around the table with your family.
